Parrish Window Tinting and Window Film

Parrish window tinting solves a problem specific to new communities: a lot of glass and almost no shade. Newer homes are built with wide sliders, tall great-room windows, and open floor plans, and the landscaping around them has not grown in yet. Until those trees mature, the sun hits the glass unfiltered from morning to evening.

NBI Suncontrol is Manatee County’s 3M Premier Elite dealer, with more than 40,000 residential and commercial installations completed across the Gulf Coast since 1973. We handle home window tinting in Parrish with 3M sun control window film, and our Lakewood Ranch office is a short drive away.

What window tinting does for a Parrish home

  1. Cools the big rooms. Solar film rejects heat at the glass and cuts summer bills by as much as 10 percent.
  2. Protects new finishes. More than 99% of UV blocked keeps brand-new flooring and furniture from fading early.
  3. Cuts glare. The great room stays usable in the afternoon without pulling every shade.
  4. Eases a new AC system. Less solar load means less run time on equipment you just paid for.

Home Window Tinting in Parrish

Parrish window tinting matters most while the landscaping is still young. A new build is well insulated and still gets hot, because the glass area keeps growing while the sun stays the same. Most windows are designed to hold temperature in, not to reject solar heat, so a west-facing great room can be uncomfortable by mid-afternoon even in a brand-new house.

Adding 3M sun control window film upgrades the glass you already have instead of replacing it, and it typically pays back its cost in energy savings in about 36 months. Compare films on our residential window film page, or browse our residential gallery.

Privacy While the Neighborhood Fills In

Parrish window tinting can solve privacy and heat in the same visit. New communities are open by design, which is lovely until a neighbor’s windows line up with yours and there is not a hedge in sight yet. One-way film gives you daytime privacy without giving up the view or closing a blind, and decorative film handles bathrooms, sidelights, and pantry doors.

For the commercial side of Parrish, commercial solar film and commercial security film cover offices, medical suites, and storefronts.

Film for Every Window in a New Build

A new house usually needs more than one product. Alongside solar film we install home security film, decorative film for bathrooms and pantry doors, and window coverings that pair with film. Parrish Window Tinting FAQs

Is window tinting worth it on a brand-new home?

Yes. Most builder glass is designed for insulation rather than solar heat rejection, so a west-facing room can still be uncomfortable. Film adds that heat rejection to the glass you already have.

Will window film void my builder or window warranty?

Send us your window manufacturer’s guidelines and we will check them before recommending a film. 3M films carry their own warranty, and most residential applications include a lifetime warranty.

Can I get privacy without losing the view?

Yes. One-way films let you see out while keeping people from seeing in during the day, which is useful before the landscaping fills in.

Do you cover Parrish and the surrounding communities?

Yes, along with the rest of Manatee County. Call (941) 360-8500 and we will set up a free quote.
